First post! Woot woot!
Hi! I'm here now, albeit only occasionally. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays however you celebrate it!
You may remember me from Livejournal, where I was lytarules in Stargate fandom.
Old fic has been moved to AO3 here. For new people, old fic is mostly Sam/Jack Stargate SG-1. Read the short stuff! It's either funny fluff or angsty stuff, and I think I have at least one more short humor thing to upload if I can find it.

I don't recommend the long one (White Out) for casual/relaxing reading, despite it being a long action/adventure story. It was written in large part as a protest against the way sexual assault was often handled in fanfiction, especially Stargate fanfiction, in the early/mid 2000s. If you're going to read it, mind the warnings. It's not just some light S/J porn.
White Out won some sort of minor award back in the day, but I can't find a link to it any more, and I don't remember the exact award or even the year. (Best Het Non-Con some year or another? It had a lot of qualifiers.) Meh, no biggie. It isn't going to be a lot of people's cup of tea regardless. I don't plan to write anything like that again. If I do touch on the subject, I'll include clear warnings. I would rather over-warn than ruin someone's reading experience. Please let me know if I miss something that I should warn about or put behind a cut.
#MeToo and associated movements have made the discussion of previously taboo topics much more mainstream, and have reduced some of the stigma associated with these necessary topics. Oh yeah, folks, just so we're clear, #MeToo. I know you're shocked. /sarcasm. But my friends, you aren't alone. I'm glad you survived, too.

I have started writing again. We'll see if anything worth posting comes out of it. So far it's all long and 95% serious. I would love to be able to write something less than 10,000 words, but it ain't happening yet, and I have no less than 5 stories in the works, LOL. ADD writing style FTW.
Betas needed for Once Upon A Time fics, looking particularly for assistance with canon compliance, characterization, wordcraft, and general flow. I have both gen and swan queen fic in the works so far. (OMG she's writing f/f slash now? WTH? I am baffled as well, but here we are.) I make no promises about fidelity to any fandom, ship, or the lack thereof in future writings. I know - the horror. I am a promiscuous, adulterous shipper. Sorry. *shrugs*
